1 | Vector Signal Transceiver upto 6GHz |
The NI PXIe-5644R vector signal transceiver (VST) is part of a new class of instrumentation that combines a vector signal generator and vector signal analyzer with FPGA-based real-time signal processing and control. Because of this software-designed approach, a VST features the flexibility of a software defined radio architecture with RF instrument class performance. This means you can use the VST to test a variety of cellular and wireless standards such as IEEE 802.11ac with an error vector magnitude of better than -45 dB (0.5 percent) at 5.8 GHz. In addition, you can easily expand the VST's small 3-slot 3U PXI Express form factor to support multiple input, multiple output (MIMO) configurations. |
2 | 6.6 Ghz RF Vector Signal Generator |
The NI PXIe-5673 is a wide-bandwidth 6.6 GHz RF vector signal generator (VSG). Combined with appropriate software, this module can generate a variety of signals. Using the NI LabVIEW Modulation Toolkit, the NI PXIe-5673 can generate different waveforms including AM, FM, CPM, ASK, FSK, MSK, PSK, QAM (4, 16, 64, and 256), multitone signals, and arbitrary waveforms. In addition, you can combine this VSG with standard-specific software to generate signals for GPS, GSM/EDGE/WCDMA, WLAN, WiMAX, DVB-C/H/C, ISDB-T, ZigBee, and others. One key feature of the NI PXIe-5673 is its stream-from-disk capabilities, which you can use to generate continuous waveforms that are up to several terabytes in length. |
3 | 2.7 Ghz RF Vector Signal Generator |
The NI PXI-5671 module is a 3-slot RF vector signal generator (VSG) that delivers signal generation from 250 kHz to 2.7 GHz, 20 MHz of real-time bandwidth, and up to 512 MB of memory. The onboard quadrature digital upconverter significantly extends waveform playback time and reduces the time required to compute and download waveform data by computing the waveform data using the onboard field-programmable gate array (FPGA). This functionality is ideal for engineers who require data streaming with rapid response time for software-defined radio (SDR) or faster download times for satellite radio applications. In addition, the PXI-5671 can generate custom and standard modulation formats including AM, FM, PM, ASK, FSK, MSK, GMSK, PSK, QPSK, PAM, and QAM. |
4 | 2.7 GHz RF Vector Signal Analyzer and Spectrum Analyzer |
PXI-5661, providing common measurements such as power spectrum, peak power and frequency, in-band power, adjacent-channel power, and occupied bandwidth. Additionally, it offers vector capabilities, such as 3D spectrograms, I/Q data for modulation analysis, and analog modulation analysis functions. You also can use the PXI-5661 with the LabVIEW Modulation Toolkit to analyze custom and standard modulation formats. |
5 | 6.6 GHz RF Vector Signal Analyzer and Spectrum Analyzer |
NI PXIe-5663 and PXIe-5663E 6.6 GHz RF vector signal analyzers offer wide instantaneous bandwidth optimized for automated test. Combined with highperformance PXI controllers and the high-speed PCI Express data bus, these modules can perform common automated measurements significantly fasterthan traditional instruments. You can use an NI PXIe-5663/5663E as either a spectrum analyzer or vector signal analyzer with NI LabVIEW or LabWindows/CVI software. In addition, you can use NI PXIe-5663 module with the NI Modulation Toolkit for LabVIEW to analyze custom and standard modulation formats. When combined with NI or third-party analysis toolkits, the NI PXIe-5663/5663E can perform measurements for a broad range of communications standards such as GSM, EDGE, WCDMA, WiMAX, LTE, Bluetooth, WLAN, DVB-C/H/T, ATSC, and MediaFLO. Because all measurements are software-defined, you can simply reconfigure the measurements using standard specific toolkits. With these toolkits, the NI PXIe-5663/5663E modules provide a low-cost solution to high performance RF measurements. |
6 | Vector Network Analyzer |
The NI PXIe-5630 is a 6 GHz, 2-port vector network analyzer (VNA) with support for vector measurements of transmission and reflection (T/R) coefficients, which are also represented as the forward S-parameters S11 and S21. The 10 MHz to 6 GHz frequency range, a wide dynamic range of greater than 100 dB, and sweep speeds of less than 400 μs/point over 3,201 points make the VNA ideally suited for automated design validation and production test. The NI PXIe-5630 provides impressive value and flexibility in a small form factor. With a mature feature set, including automatic precision calibration, full vector analysis, and reference plane extensions, it offers an ideal vector network analysis solution for your validation and production operations without the high costs and large footprints associated with a traditional benchtop VNA. |
7 | Software Defined Radio |
NI USRP-292x software-programmable radio transceivers are designed for wireless communications teaching and research. National Instruments combines the power of NI LabVIEW software and USRP™ hardware to deliver an affordable and easy-to-use software-reconfigurable RF platform that works well for communications education, experimentation, research, and rapid prototyping. With wide frequency coverage and two RF configurations, the NI USRP platform helps you experiment and prototype physical layer host-based algorithms with live signals in the same bands as 802.11a/b/g/n and ZigBee. This functionality both enhances the depth of an educational experience and allows researchers to rapidly validate their work with real-world data. |
